A thousand years further in time and the world has taken a drastic turn.
After the fall of Aizen, the loss of the Hōgyokō and the death of the Shinigami, it seemed as if the afterlife was filled with silence. One final battle was all it took for the fall of all the races, Shinigami, Hollows, Arrancar and human fighters alike - all dead and rotting in the same field.
The Soul King saw the empty space and in an effort to repair the damage done by the battle with Aizen and Soul Society along with it’s human allies, he returned to the realm of spirit with thirteen of his Royal guard and in a shining moment of absolute power, recreated Soul Society and Hueco Mundo to their previous states.
Leaving his royal guard to stay behind as guardians and custodians of the Gotei 13 Squads, he returned to his palace and left the recreation of the afterlife to his chosen few. With several wars in the human realm, along with hunger and famine, the dead had flooded Soul Society and it was not long before some of them could be included in the ranks of the Shinigami.
A new academy was opened and the powerful souls of the world started to flood.
Now a new threat has arisen.
A being known as the Primorgen looks down from his spire in Hueco Mundo and like his enemies; he too had custodians… the Nuevo Espada. Using his still-budding powers, the Primorgen started controlling the mindless masses of Hollow, resembling his own former kind.
Slowly both forces have began pooling their strengths and increasing their numbers for the battle that is sure to come.
Will the Shinigami become a force to be reckoned with once more, or will the Primorgen's ambitions surpass even that of the once-mighty Aizen?
Such is the tale of a new world. Such is the legacy of the soul.
